MathGuide ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting privacy. This policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored and shared when you use the MathGuide website, Android app and related educational services.

The information collected depends on the feature you use. It may include:

- Messages, enquiries, tutor requests, feedback, survey responses or form submissions.
- Optional access to pictures or files when you deliberately choose to upload or attach them through a supported feature.

- Cookie and similar technology information used for security, preferences, analytics and, where enabled, advertising.
MathGuide does not ask users to send passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive personal information through ordinary contact channels.

- Improve, personalise and expand learning features.
- Understand usage, diagnose errors and protect the Service.

Third-party services
MathGuide may use third-party providers to host and protect the website, deliver files, display videos, support communication, provide app distribution, process analytics or serve advertising. These providers may process limited information only as needed for their services.
Examples may include Cloudflare, Google services, YouTube and WhatsApp. Links to external sites are governed by those sites’ own policies. MathGuide does not sell personal data.

Cookies and similar technologies may be used to maintain preferences, protect the Service, understand usage and improve performance. Advertising partners may also use cookies or similar identifiers where advertising is enabled.
You can manage cookies through your browser or device settings. Blocking some cookies may affect certain features.

MathGuide uses reasonable safeguards such as access controls, secure connections and reputable infrastructure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, legal obligations, dispute resolution, safety and service improvement. Retention periods may differ by data type.

Children’s privacy
MathGuide serves school-age learners. Children should use the Service with appropriate guidance from a parent, guardian, teacher or responsible adult. MathGuide does not knowingly seek unnecessary personal data from children.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information without suitable permission may contact MathGuide to request review or deletion.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated as MathGuide services, technologies or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
Transparency and corrections
MathGuide aims to provide clear and accurate information. Users are encouraged to report statements or representations that appear misleading, inaccurate or outdated so they can be reviewed and corrected promptly.
Educational and independence notice
MathGuide provides educational and career guidance, ECZ papers and answers, tuition connections, eStatements of Results links or guidance, study materials, books and educational videos.
MathGuide does not represent and is not affiliated with the Examinations Council of Zambia or any government institution. Content is provided for educational support independently of government entities.
