Who writes MathGuide

Written by an educator, with a team behind it

MathGuide lessons and articles are written by David K. Mvula, an educator, author and personal-development coach who leads the MathGuide team of educators. Each lesson names its author and shows the date it was last updated, so you always know who wrote it and how recent it is.

How we work

Editorial standards

Structure. Every lesson follows the same pattern: the key ideas, worked examples with each step shown, the mistakes that most often cost marks, and practice questions with full answers. Lessons are meant to be read alongside the syllabus your school follows.

Accuracy. Worked examples and answers are checked before a lesson is published. If you find an error, please tell us through the contact page with the page address and what should change. We correct mistakes and update the "last updated" date on the page.

Funding. MathGuide is free to use. The site may show advertising, including Google AdSense, which helps cover running costs. Advertising is kept separate from lessons and does not influence what we write. Tutors in the directory are independent, and their listing is not an endorsement.

Important disclaimer

MathGuide is an independent educational support platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to the Examinations Council of Zambia, any government institution or any other examination authority.

ECZ materials referenced through MathGuide are publicly available educational resources provided for learning and revision purposes. Official examination information should always be confirmed through the relevant authority.

Founder’s message
“If you are not satisfied with your academic performance, change your strategies and inputs—similar to changing the seeds you plant if the crops are not to your liking.”
