How to get the best from AI study help

Ask better questions

  • Be specific. "Explain how to complete the square with an example" gets a better answer than "help with algebra".
  • Show your attempt. Write your working and ask where it goes wrong. You learn more from a correction than from a finished answer.
  • Ask for a check, not only a result. Try a similar question yourself afterwards.

Remember its limits

AI can make mistakes, especially in multi-step mathematics and in facts about specific syllabuses. Check explanations against your class notes, your textbook and the MathGuide lessons, and ask your teacher when something does not agree. Never submit AI-generated work as your own.
